Job Description
About the Role
Verizon Connect — the connected-mobility arm of Verizon — is hiring an Associate Director of Technical Product Management to own a portfolio of API-driven, AI-powered products built for global Enterprise customers. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership seat where product strategy, engineering delivery, and commercial growth all meet.
You'll be responsible for an emerging suite of solutions that pull together APIs, connected-device data, and machine-learning models into cohesive product offerings. Winning in this role means turning fast-moving technology trends into a roadmap that Enterprise buyers genuinely want, then aligning product, engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams behind shipping it.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year roadmap and strategy for a global suite of API, data, and AI/ML-driven products
- Build financial models and business cases that justify investment and frame a 3–5 year product vision
- Serve as the technical voice of the product when engaging prospects and Enterprise customers, translating their needs into clear requirements
- Run ongoing competitive and market analysis to surface white space and prioritize the highest-value opportunities
- Define and maintain the agile product backlog in close partnership with engineering and UX
- Collaborate with design and technology teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
- Align stakeholders across the org around a unified roadmap and customer journey
- Drive go-to-market execution — release planning, documentation, and sales/support enablement
- Lead customer advisory sessions, capture structured feedback, and track NPS post-launch
- Set direction and give ongoing vision to your extended team and stakeholders
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, high-growth SaaS environment
Requirements
- 6+ years in Product Management or a closely related field
- 3+ years working directly with customers on customer-facing products
- 5+ years partnering closely with Engineering and UX/Design teams
- Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
- Hands-on experience shipping SaaS and mobile products
Preferred
- MBA
- Experience building and operating production-grade AI/ML products
- Track record launching and managing external-facing APIs, data ecosystems, and integrated Enterprise solutions
- Familiarity with analytics, reporting, and BI integrations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfort applying design-thinking approaches to product problems
