Job Description

Honeywell is hiring a Senior Advanced Technical Product Owner for its digital product organization in Atlanta, Georgia. What You Will Do Day to Day

• Work with Product Managers to build product strategy and advance Honeywell's strategic digital goals
• Plan and refine the product backlog so every sprint delivers the best value in the shortest possible time
• Break the roadmap into epics and user stories with the right level of detail and clear acceptance criteria
• Confirm each item meets the definition of ready before sprint planning and the definition of done before the demo
• Lead or support sprint playbacks and retrospectives so lessons are applied and team velocity improves without hurting quality
• Gather requirements from the field, document them, and use customer feedback and usage metrics to pinpoint user pain points
• Present and demo new features to leaders and large audiences
• Manage bottlenecks, handle escalations and make smart trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints
• Look for innovative solutions, built in-house or sourced from vendors, that deliver business value
• Champion the team's successes and keep pushing to improve how Agile is practiced
• Shape requirement definition, customer experience design and roadmap prioritization for long-term, large-scale solutions

What You Should Bring

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field
• 5+ years overseeing roadmap strategy, feature delivery and trade-off decisions for a product
• 5+ years contributing to engineering discussions about technology choices and strategy
• 5+ years in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile, Scrum and Lean environments
• Strong command of product and project management tools
• The ability to turn user feedback and data into confident decisions
• Skill at prioritizing competing demands across several work streams and stakeholders

Work Setup and Location
