This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Placeman collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. It applies to job seekers, recruiters, and all visitors to placeman.co.in. Placeman is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.
Recruiters: account information such as name and email address, company name and website, job posting content (title, description, salary, location, work mode, application details), company logo and media, and billing information (processed by our payment provider).
Job seekers: email address if you subscribe to job alerts, and your alert frequency preference. Placeman does not intentionally collect resumes or applicant profiles through the Platform.
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we may collect your name, email address, message, and any other information you choose to provide.
We and our service providers may automatically collect IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, pages visited, and interaction data via cookies and similar technologies.
Information in a job listing — company name, description, location, salary, application details, logo, and media — is published publicly and may be indexed by search engines (including Google for Jobs), crawled by AI systems, and shared on social platforms. Deleting a listing removes it from Placeman but does not guarantee removal from search engine caches or third-party indexes already created. Recruiters should not include personal information about applicants, employees, or other individuals in public job-listing content unless they have a lawful basis and authorization to do so.

When you apply through a listing, you are directed to the recruiter’s own email or application system. Placeman is not the employer and does not control, receive, or store your application or resume. Placeman does not provide an applicant resume database or application-management service. We do not intentionally collect resumes or applicant profiles through the Platform. The recruiter’s own privacy practices govern information you submit to them. Review a company’s privacy practices before applying.
We use essential cookies necessary for website functionality and security, including recruiter login sessions, and analytics technologies such as Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and usage. Analytics information may include technical and interaction data such as approximate location, device and browser information, pages viewed, and Platform interactions. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this may affect some functionality.
We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Job listings are removed from public display after 30 days and may be retained internally afterward for administrative, accounting, legal, or record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and operational exceptions, by contacting us.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption, secure SMTP, and password-protected admin access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and/or regulators as required by applicable law.
