Job Description
Okta is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own product strategy and execution for Agentic Security within its Auth0 Identity Security line — one of the fastest-moving fronts in enterprise identity today. As organizations rush to deploy autonomous AI agents, the question of who — or what — is actually acting inside a system has become a board-level risk. This role sits at the center of that shift, building the runtime detection, classification, and protection capabilities that let enterprises trust their agentic workflows.
This is a hands-on, technical PM role. The ideal candidate already understands how AI agents are built and orchestrated in practice — including MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, agentic tooling, and productivity platforms like Claude Code — and can translate that fluency into a defensible, real-time security product. A working command of the OWASP Top 10 for Agentic AI is expected, along with direct experience responding to threats like prompt injection, agent intent anomalies, and rogue or compromised agent detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion a clear product strategy and roadmap for agentic security, using data-driven prioritization to maximize customer and business value.
- Drive customer research — surveys, interviews, and data analysis — to identify top opportunities and optimize the end-to-end customer journey.
- Partner with Product Design on prototypes and wireframes, improving usability across both UI and API surfaces.
- Maintain daily collaboration with engineering in an Agile environment — writing user stories, scoping sprints, and unblocking delivery.
- Establish hypotheses and baselines for feature launches, then track adoption and iterate based on real usage data.
- Partner with Product Marketing on campaigns that drive trial conversion, PLG motions, retention, and high-value usage.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and craft positioning, messaging, and supporting content (blogs, webinars).
- Engage directly with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Technical Account Managers to gather field feedback and support adoption.
- Use AI tools for prototyping, synthesizing customer insights, competitive analysis, and documentation.
Requirements
- Significant product experience with AI agent creation, orchestration, and MCP servers for exposing context, tools, and resources to agents.
- Strong command of the OWASP Top 10 for Agentic AI, with direct experience in prompt injection, agent intent anomalies, and rogue agent detection.
- 5–8 years of Product Management experience, startup or high-growth environments.
- Undergraduate and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in security, fraud, or compliance, with foundational IAM/CIAM knowledge (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, MFA, RBAC) and/or familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience delivering global, enterprise software across the full product lifecycle.
- Deep Agile experience — sprint planning, backlog management, and prioritization with engineering teams.
Preferred
- Direct, hands-on experience in agentic security product management specifically.
- Familiarity with productivity tools built on agentic workflows (e.g., Claude Code).
- Experience with classic fraud vectors — Account Takeover (ATO), resource draining, fraudulent account creation — and their multi-agent equivalents.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong intellectual curiosity across business and technical domains.
