Principal Product Manager – Applied AI, Data Science & Data Engineering

Autodesk is seeking a high-impact Principal Product Manager to join the Applied AI, Data Science, and Data Engineering team within our Enterprise Systems and Experience organization. This role sits at the heart of how Autodesk turns data into intelligent, reusable products that power workforce productivity across the company.

You will own the product discipline for a fast-growing portfolio that includes semantic data models, AI-ready data products, conversational analytics, data-as-a-service capabilities, bring-your-own-data experiences, and the agents and automations that reason over that data. Your mandate is clear: move the team from reactive, request-by-request delivery to a scalable portfolio of governed, reusable AI and data products that Autodesk owns outright.

What you will do

• Translate company strategy into detailed product roadmaps, execution plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Own prioritization and roadmap development across the enterprise data hub, AI-ready data products, self-service conversational analytics, data-as-a-service offerings, semantic models, and AI value-realization initiatives.
• Apply deep fluency in data, analytics, and AI to define dashboards, reporting, and intelligent experiences as true data and AI products.
• Make and clearly defend prioritization decisions with engineering, data science, architecture, governance, and business stakeholders.
• Lead intake, discovery, and backlog refinement for a high volume of stakeholder requests while keeping a consistent focus on maximum value for the broadest set of users.
• Convert business needs into crisp product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business-value statements, and delivery milestones.
• Partner closely with engineering, data science, applied AI, architecture, and governance teams to ensure every roadmap item is properly scoped, sequenced, and delivered.
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, blockers, decisions, and stakeholder commitments so delivery stays aligned.
• Drive adoption and product-health metrics including usage, reuse, data quality, freshness, stakeholder satisfaction, and realized business value.
• Support executive communication with concise roadmap updates, status summaries, trade-off decisions, and impact narratives.
• Maintain clean alignment across Airtable, Jira, Wiki, and related planning systems.

This is a Principal-level role that requires both strategic vision and hands-on product craft. You will shape how Autodesk’s internal teams discover, trust, and act on data and AI—creating lasting leverage for the entire organization.
