Director, PM (Discovery) – Fortnite

Job Description

Epic Games is hiring a Director of Product Management to lead strategy and execution for the Discovery system within Fortnite. This role sits inside Epic's Growth Team, partnering closely with Development, Design, and Data Science to connect players with the right content at the right time - directly shaping how hundreds of millions of players discover experiences inside Fortnite.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for the Discover surface to improve player discovery and drive growth
• Write detailed business and product requirements, partnering with Development and Data Science on execution
• Develop and refine data-driven "playbooks" for Discover initiatives, measuring effectiveness and iterating
• Present product concepts and strategy to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive live operations for Discover initiatives, using data to find improvement opportunities

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, with exposure to discovery systems, content platforms, recommendation engines, or large-scale consumer products
• Strong analytical skills; able to define success metrics and evaluate feature performance using data
• Track record shipping products in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including PRD writing and leadership presentations

• Passion for games and understanding of growth, retention, and monetization mechanics
• Interest in creator ecosystems and advocating for developers building on a platform
• Experience managing or mentoring other PMs
