By using Placeman, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. If you don’t agree, do not use the Platform.
Placeman is a job board for Product Manager roles in the United States, operated from India. We are not a recruitment agency, do not screen candidates or verify recruiter identity beyond basic checks, and do not guarantee employment outcomes.
You must be 18+, legally able to enter a binding agreement, and (if posting on behalf of an organization) authorized to bind it to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
Listings must: be for genuine, currently open PM roles in the US; be accurate and non-discriminatory; comply with applicable US employment law; not include redirect links designed to bypass the Platform. We may reject, edit, suspend, or remove any listing, including where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, our editorial standards, or creates a risk to Placeman or users.
Duration: Listings run 30 days live, then are removed from public display and may be retained internally for administrative, accounting, legal, or record-keeping purposes. You may repost anytime.
Fees: Standard listings are free. Featured Listing credits cost $349 each. Each purchased credit is valid for 6 months from its purchase date. Purchasing additional credits resets the expiration of all currently unused credits to 6 months from the most recent purchase date — this rolling-validity rule is stated at checkout and in your purchase confirmation email. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. Credits are non-refundable once applied to a published listing, and unused credits are non-refundable upon expiration. If we reject a paid listing before publication for a Terms violation, we may, at our discretion, restore the credit or provide another remedy. Nothing in this section limits any refund or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are solely responsible for: accuracy and legality of your listing content, responding to applicants, compliance with hiring, employment, and data-protection law, and removing listings once a role is filled.
Browsing is free. No registration is required to browse job listings. Recruiters may be required to create and maintain an account to access certain Platform features. Placeman does not collect resumes or manage applications — you apply directly through the recruiter’s own process, and Placeman does not control or receive that information. Email alert subscribers may unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email. Placeman does not guarantee listing accuracy, employer legitimacy, or any employment outcome, and does not guarantee the security, accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any third-party application destination. Independently verify any employer and application destination before providing personal information.
Recruiters must not: request payment or fees from applicants; post fraudulent, fake, or non-existent positions; impersonate another company; use listings for phishing; request unnecessary sensitive personal information from applicants; or use Placeman to collect applicant data unlawfully. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that violate this section without notice or refund, and may report suspected fraud or illegal activity to relevant authorities.
By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to submit it, and you grant Placeman a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the Platform and in related communications for the purpose of operating the Platform. You acknowledge that publicly submitted job content may be indexed, cached, reproduced in search results, or processed by third-party search and AI services outside our control. You retain ownership of your content. All Placeman-created design, text, graphics, and code is our property; you may not reproduce or create derivative works without written consent.
If you believe content on Placeman infringes your copyright or trademark, email support@placeman.co.in with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) location of the allegedly infringing content; (3) your contact details; (4) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement of the accuracy of your notice and your authority to act. We will review and may remove content and suspend repeat infringers at our discretion. This is a platform takedown policy and does not constitute a formal DMCA safe-harbor process.
You must not: post non-PM or non-US roles; submit false or fraudulent information; scrape or harvest Platform data; disrupt Platform infrastructure; send spam; impersonate any person or entity; or use the Platform unlawfully. Violations may result in immediate suspension and content removal without refund.
Placeman aims to make the Platform usable for all visitors and welcomes feedback on accessibility issues at support@placeman.co.in, but does not warrant that every part of the Platform meets a particular accessibility standard at all times.
Placeman integrates with WooCommerce and third-party payment providers, Hostinger, and Google Analytics. Job listings and Platform pages may link to third-party sites, including company career pages and application systems. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of any third-party service or site; your use of them is subject to their own terms.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Placeman does not independently verify that any listing, recruiter, employer, or employment opportunity complies with applicable employment, immigration, sanctions, export-control, or other law. Users are responsible for ensuring their own activities and content comply with applicable law, including avoiding transactions with sanctioned or restricted parties. Nothing on Placeman constitutes legal, immigration, employment, tax, financial, or professional advice. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform, or change pricing, at any time, and do not guarantee continuous availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Placeman is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability to any User for a paid service shall not exceed the amount that User paid to Placeman in the 12 months preceding the claim. For claims by users who have not paid Placeman, our total liability shall not exceed USD $100. This limitation does not apply to claims that cannot be limited under applicable law, or to Placeman’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Placeman and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or content you submit. Recruiters specifically agree to indemnify Placeman against claims arising from unlawful job listings, employment-law or discrimination claims connected to their listing or hiring practices, infringement of third-party content rights, privacy violations, or fraudulent listings.
This section affects your legal rights. Read it carefully.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting support@placeman.co.in. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis — not as a class, consolidated, or representative action — under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), seated in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, conducted in English. You and Placeman waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This section does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief for intellectual-property or unauthorized-access claims, from pursuing claims in small-claims court where legally available, or from asserting any right that cannot be waived by agreement under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Section 14, courts in Kozhikode, Kerala, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.
Payment for a Featured Listing does not guarantee a particular search position, traffic volume, applications, interviews, employment outcome, or other result.
Modifications: We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Termination: We may suspend or terminate any account or refuse service for any reason, including Terms violations, without notice. We may also remove any content and refuse future service without refund. You may terminate anytime by contacting support; fees paid are non-refundable except as stated in Section 3.
Electronic Communications: By using the Platform or communicating with Placeman electronically, you consent to receive electronic communications relating to your use of the Platform, transactions, listings, and account activity. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, to the extent permitted by law.
Force Majeure: Placeman is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment: We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights without our consent.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Placeman.
