Job Description
Amazon is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy for Amazon Live, the company's live-shopping and creator-commerce platform. This is a technical PM role sitting at the intersection of advertising technology, generative AI, and the creator economy — the person in this seat will own how brands and influencers create, publish, and grow on Amazon's live commerce platform.
The role centers on Amazon Live's brand and creator tooling, including the Live Creator App, AI-assisted content creation features, Brand Store live integrations, and the reporting layer brands use to measure performance. Success is defined less by shipping features and more by a single north star: getting brands to adopt live commerce and keep investing in it.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product charter for Amazon Live's brand- and creator-facing tools, including the Live Creator App and brand reporting/analytics suite
- Define and push forward how generative AI is applied to content creation within the platform
- Write strategy documents and roadmaps, and make the hard tradeoff calls on what ships and when
- Partner closely with Amazon Ads, UX measurement teams, and a co-located engineering group to translate advertiser needs into scalable product experiences
- Shape how brands discover and collaborate with influencers/creators on the platform
- Work cross-functionally with GTM, content acquisition, and business development teams to set brand and creator partners up for success
Requirements
- 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology strategy and decisions
- Track record of owning roadmap strategy, feature tradeoffs, and full product delivery cycles
- Experience managing technical products or online services at scale
- Experience representing stakeholders in executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred
- Experience with analytical/BI tooling such as Tableau, QlikView, or Amazon QuickSight
- Track record of building new tools and driving org-wide adoption of them
Job Benefits
As a corporate role at Amazon, this position is expected to carry Amazon's standard full-time benefits package (not itemized in this specific posting):
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company matching
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as part of total compensation
- Paid time off and parental leave
- Employee Assistance Program and mental health support
