Job Description
Senior Product Manager – T-Mobile USA, Inc.
T-Mobile is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own strategy and outcomes across a complex, cross-platform product domain. This is not an execution-only role — it's a role that originates the roadmap, backs it with evidence, and adjusts it as new data comes in. If you want a senior product management job where you set direction rather than take orders, this listing is worth a close look.
What You'll Actually Own
- Full accountability for domain outcomes — not just what ships, but what moves the metric after launch
- A product roadmap that spans 5–8 Agile/Scrum teams, with real cross-team and cross-platform dependencies
- The investment narrative — you'll build the business case and secure funding directly with leadership
- Mentorship of junior PMs, raising the team's bar for how problems get framed and measured
Key Responsibilities
- Synthesize competitive signals, customer data, and market timing into directional strategy bets — then defend them with evidence
- Act as a co-owner of customer research, not a downstream consumer of summaries
- Translate complex, multi-platform strategy into detailed features and acceptance criteria that engineering can build against
- Own the domain KPI framework: define what matters, track it, and act on what it shows
- Run ROI, NPV, and cost-benefit analysis to support major build-vs-buy-vs-partner calls
- Communicate roadmap tradeoffs with clarity at Director and VP level
- Apply AI tooling to research synthesis, scenario modeling, and executive narrative drafting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related work experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years
- 7+ years of Product Management experience in an agile software development environment
- Advanced-level understanding of customer experience
- Strong backlog management, business acumen, data analysis, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven go-to-market strategy and product roadmap ownership experience
- At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
- Demonstrated AI fluency applied to real product workflows
- Business analysis background
- A track record of being held accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables
Job Benefits
T-Mobile's Total Rewards package is built around the idea that big love for customers should extend to employees too.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with employee stock grants and an employee stock purchase plan
- Free, year-round money coaching
- Paid time off plus up to 12 paid holidays (~4 weeks total for new full-time employees)
- Paid parental and family leave, family-building benefits, back-up care, and a childcare subsidy
- Tuition assistance and college coaching
- Short- and long-term disability, plus voluntary AD&D, accident, life, disability, and long-term care coverage
- Mobile service and home internet discounts, pet insurance, and commuter/transit programs
