Job Description
About the Role
Visa is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap for the platform capabilities that power client onboarding and shape the daily experience of both external developers and internal teams. Sitting on the Customer & Developer Experience team, this role anchors two high-visibility surfaces: Visa's Developer Portal and the Control Center web application. If you enjoy translating deep technical platform work into a roadmap the whole business can rally around, this is a rare seat at the center of Visa's developer ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for Control Center, spanning authentication, identity management, and role-based access control
- Partner with the documentation team to evolve the developer portal — frontend experience, content infrastructure, and integrations with adjacent developer tools
- Drive improvements to internal platform tooling to boost usability and adoption across teams
- Lead discovery by engaging directly with customers, developers, and internal stakeholders to surface unmet needs
- Scope, prioritize, and sequence initiatives for measurable customer and business impact
- Work hands-on with engineering to shape architecture trade-offs and guide execution
- Translate complex, technical platform work into clear, outcome-driven roadmaps
- Own the full lifecycle: launch, monitor, and continuously iterate on shipped features
- Balance near-term delivery against long-term platform strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 2+ years with an Advanced degree, or entry-level with a PhD)
- Comfort operating across web applications and REST APIs
- Experience with system integrations and platform-level services
- Strong fundamentals in discovery, customer research, feature scoping, and roadmap ownership
- Technical curiosity — comfortable reading API documentation and partnering deeply with engineers
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years specifically owning software platform roadmaps
- Background in identity, access management (IAM), or internal tooling ecosystems
- Experience using product analytics to guide decisions and measure outcomes
- Prior work in Fintech, Banking, Payments, or SaaS platforms
- Comfortable in Agile environments with strong cross-level stakeholder communication
- Based in or open to relocating to Austin, Texas
Job Benefits
- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
- 401(k) retirement plan
- FSA/HSA options
- Life Insurance
- Paid Time Off
- Wellness Program
- Potential eligibility for bonus and equity
