Product Manager – Identity Threat Protection

Job Description

Okta is hiring a Product Manager to join its Identity Threat Protection (ITP) team - a core security platform built to detect and stop identity-based attacks before they become breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own specific product areas within ITP, from concept through launch and iteration
• Partner with senior PMs to shape roadmap priorities and translate strategy into executable plans
• Build deep understanding of the evolving identity attack surface - including human identities, AI agents, and non-human identities (NHIs)
• Define product requirements, user experience, and success criteria for engineering execution
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and security teams to ship scalable capabilities
• Use product data, customer feedback, and research to drive continuous improvement
• Support go-to-market efforts including positioning, enablement, and adoption

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or identity products
• Foundational exposure to identity or security domains (IAM, threat detection, SecOps, incident response)
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems and drive structured execution
• Experience defining product requirements with engineering teams
• Technical foundation (CS, Engineering, or equivalent) to engage in technical design discussions

Preferred:

• Experience contributing to enterprise-scale product development
• Familiarity with IAM concepts, protocols, and systems
• Exposure to XDR, SIEM, SSE, or threat detection platforms
• Cross-functional experience spanning engineering, design, and GTM
• Advanced degree in a technical or business field
