Job Description

Adobe is expanding its Brand Visibility offering (the evolution of Adobe LLM Optimizer combined with Semrush Enterprise capabilities) and needs a Principal Product Manager who can own a major slice of the product. The core shift is simple but profound: search engines and AI answer surfaces no longer just list links—they synthesize answers. When a brand’s story is told inside an AI Overview or chat response instead of a blue link, the entire discovery and trust model changes. This role sits at the center of that change.

You will own the product strategy and roadmap for a defined area of Brand Visibility. Day to day that means deciding how the platform ingests signals from AI answer engines, then connecting those signals into the systems marketers already live in—Adobe Experience Manager Sites, Adobe Analytics, CDNs, and comparable enterprise stacks. Success is measured by real customer outcomes with the world’s top brands, not by hypothetical personas.

  • Talk to customers constantly. You will speak directly with marketing leaders at major brands every week. Listen for the friction they feel when AI-generated answers omit or misrepresent their brand, then turn those conversations into concrete product bets.
  • Prototype early and often. Sketch the user flow yourself, build lightweight prototypes with modern AI tools, and validate the idea before engineering invests significant cycles. Speed of learning is a core expectation.
  • Define and own the metrics that matter. Move beyond vanity numbers. Establish clear indicators that prove your area of the product is improving brand presence, trust, and measurable business results inside AI-mediated discovery.
  • Partner deeply with engineering and data teams. You must be technical enough to discuss data contracts, ingestion pipelines, and integration patterns with credibility, while remaining focused on the customer problem and business outcome.
  • Stay plugged into the broader SEO and AI-visibility community. Follow emerging research, benchmarks, and tool developments. Bring external insight back into the product so Adobe stays ahead of the curve.

This is a builder-heavy environment. The team ships fast, uses AI natively in its own workflows, and prioritizes outcomes over process theater. You will operate with high ownership in a matrixed organization, influencing without formal authority across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market partners. The ideal candidate has already shipped meaningful product in the SEO or GEO space, is comfortable prototyping, and can translate messy customer conversations into crisp requirements and prioritization decisions.

Preferred background includes hands-on experience with tools in the AI-visibility landscape (Semrush AIO, BrightEdge, Conductor, Profound, or similar), direct work with enterprise CMS or analytics platforms, and a demonstrated ability to move from insight to shipped improvement. Experience with social monitoring or affiliate systems is a plus but not required. The role expects 3–8 years of product management experience at Senior or Principal scope, depending on the depth of relevant domain expertise you bring.

If you thrive when the problem space is still being defined, enjoy talking to real customers every day, and want to help the world’s largest brands stay visible and trusted in an AI-first discovery world, this is the opportunity.
