Product Manager, Enterprise Developer Enablement

Job Description

Netflix is hiring a Technical Product Manager for its Content Foundations team to drive the strategy and evolution of internal application development platforms - reducing cognitive load for engineers and integrating AI-native capabilities into foundational systems. This role directly impacts how content is created, managed, and delivered to hundreds of millions of members worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Define long-term vision and roadmap for foundational application platforms, balancing immediate engineering needs with architectural shifts including AI-driven development workflows
• Simplify developer experience by delivering cohesive managed runtimes that enable teams to build complex, stateful applications without managing underlying infrastructure
• Champion a "no-ops" mindset where platform tooling abstracts operational complexity
• Drive migration from legacy systems to modern platforms in partnership with engineering leaders across Content and Studio teams
• Define and track metrics related to platform reliability and adoption, ensuring investments deliver measurable improvements in engineering productivity
• Author strategy memos and represent the team's work to senior leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years in Product Management building and scaling technical developer platforms or workflow automation tools
• Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and SDLC
• Ability to debate architectural trade-offs with engineering leads
• Experience launching or integrating AI-enabled developer tools such as coding assistants or AI agents
• Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and drive org-wide platform adoption
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with internal developer platforms at large-scale consumer or enterprise companies
• Background in content operations or media technology workflows
