Job Description
Citi is looking for a Senior Vice President, Digital Product Manager to sit at the center of how the bank builds digital experiences for its U.S. Wealth clients. This is a senior, individual-contributor-plus-influence role inside Citi Wealth, focused on the self-directed and managed-account digital surfaces that everyday investors and advisors touch every day. If you've spent your career turning ambiguous business goals into shipped, measurable product outcomes inside a large regulated organization — and you want that work to matter to millions of client accounts — this role is built for you.
You won't be managing a single feature backlog in isolation. You'll be setting direction for a portfolio of digital wealth products, working horizontally across peer product teams, engineering, UX, and senior business stakeholders to move Citi's Digital Wealth roadmap forward at a pace that matches how fast fintech and financial services are actually moving.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Owning the end-to-end digital client experience for Citi's U.S. Consumer Wealth self-directed and managed-account products — from concept through launch through iteration.
- Partnering directly with engineering, UX/UI, and QA leads to prioritize what gets built next and why, and defending those calls to senior stakeholders.
- Running or commissioning original research — studies, focus groups, competitive benchmarking — to ground product decisions in real client behavior instead of internal opinion.
- Defining the OKRs and KPIs that determine whether a feature actually worked, and being willing to kill things that didn't.
- Making trade-off calls across a multi-product portfolio — this role requires prioritizing between competing "good ideas," not just executing a single roadmap.
- Digging into product analytics using tools like Adobe Analytics, Glassbox, Qualtrics, Splunk, and Tableau to understand where clients get stuck.
- Writing business and platform requirements that engineering can actually build against, start to finish.
- Translating business goals into concrete client-experience improvements, working alongside stakeholders who don't necessarily speak "product."
- Setting release goals for both narrow, single-component work and larger platform-level initiatives.
- Running "test and learn" experiments that surface genuine innovation opportunities, not just incremental tweaks.
- Reporting progress and product performance clearly to senior leadership, in language that connects product decisions to business outcomes.
- Keeping risk and compliance front of mind on every call — this is a regulated wealth business, and sound judgment here is non-negotiable.
What Citi is looking for:
- 10+ years of combined experience across digital, technology, and financial services.
- Prior digital product management experience gained inside financial services, a major tech company, or a funded early/growth-stage startup.
- Leadership experience specifically within a Wealth business — digital wealth management and/or client experience work is a strong plus.
- Fluency in agile product development, working comfortably across business, technology, and go-to-market functions at once.
- An entrepreneurial mindset — genuine comfort building something from 0 to 1, not just optimizing an existing product.
- The confidence to challenge existing norms and push a multi-year vision even when it's not the easy answer.
- Strong analytical instincts — able to pull insight out of messy data and turn it into a clear next step.
- A genuine curiosity about digital products broadly, inside and outside financial services, and an eye for where Citi could get ahead of competitors.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Job Benefits
Citi backs this role with the scale and support you'd expect from one of the world's largest financial institutions:
- Hybrid flexibility — 3 days in-office, 2 days remote, so you get collaboration without losing focus time.
- Genuine product ownership over a high-profile, globally visible digital wealth domain.
- Continuous learning and development access to keep pace with fintech and product innovation.
- A performance-driven culture that recognizes and rewards individual contribution.
- Comprehensive wellbeing and financial benefits — medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life/accident/disability coverage, and wellness programs.
- Generous time off — vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.
- The chance to work alongside talented, globally distributed teams across technology, operations, and business.
