Job Description
TNT Sports is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the digital product experience for one of the biggest stages in American sports: NCAA March Madness Live and the wider NCAA.com championship ecosystem. If you want your product decisions to be felt by millions of college sports fans during the most-watched weeks of the year, this is that seat.
This role sits inside NCAA Digital and is responsible for the full fan journey — from how someone finds a game, to how they follow it live, to what keeps them coming back for the next one. You'll carry that responsibility across connected TV, mobile, and web, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, design, editorial, and data teams.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Own the roadmap for engagement, content discovery, and live viewing across the NCAA Digital portfolio — turning fan research and performance data into a prioritized plan, not just a wishlist.
- Run point on connected TV — Roku, Fire TV, Xbox, LG, Android TV, and whatever ships next — balancing a consistent fan experience against each platform's quirks, certification hoops, and release cadence.
- Keep the lights on during live events. When the Tournament is live, product decisions get made in minutes, not sprints — you'll be the one making the call on what ships, what waits, and what gets rolled back.
- Write the artifacts that make cross-functional teams move fast: product briefs, requirements, acceptance criteria, launch readiness docs, and the post-event recap that turns this year's lessons into next year's roadmap.
- Use data as your compass — funnel drop-off, session depth, retention curves — to decide what to build next and to prove it worked after you shipped it.
- Mentor junior PMs on the team and help set the tone for how NCAA Digital's product org operates day to day.
What makes someone a fit here:
- 5+ years in product management, ideally somewhere in digital media, streaming, or sports.
- You've taken a digital product or platform feature from strategy through launch and into optimization — on mobile, CTV, or the web (bonus points if it's all three).
- You've shipped for streaming or video experiences before, so "buffering complaints during a live event" isn't a new concept to you.
- Comfortable with connected TV development specifically — the certification process, the platform-specific constraints — is a strong plus, though not a dealbreaker.
- You're genuinely analytical: you'd rather look at the funnel than guess, and you know the difference between a metric that matters and one that's just noise.
- You can write a clear brief and hold a room — Engineering, Design, Editorial, Ops, and leadership all need to leave your meetings knowing what's next.
- Live, high-traffic event experience is a real plus — this job runs hottest exactly when the Tournament does.
- Nice to have: a genuine interest in college sports, and curiosity about where AI fits into fan-facing product work.
Why this role is worth a look: most PM roles ask you to imagine impact. This one hands it to you — March Madness alone puts your product decisions in front of an enormous, deeply engaged audience for a concentrated, high-stakes stretch every year. You'll get the rare mix of long-range roadmap ownership and the adrenaline of operating a product live, in real time, during the event it was built for.
