Job Description
About the Role
Zoom is hiring a Lead Product Manager to shape one of the most technically ambitious parts of its go-to-market technology: the intelligence layer that lets AI agents work together across an entire revenue cycle. This isn't a maintenance role on an established product — it's a build-and-define mandate for a team that is actively figuring out how autonomous, AI-driven workflows should behave inside a real enterprise sales and revenue motion.
The person who takes this on will sit at the intersection of product strategy, applied AI, and commercial outcomes. You won't just be writing specs for engineers to build against — you'll be deciding what "good" looks like when multiple AI agents are reasoning, using tools, and handing off work to each other, then translating that into a product experience that feels simple and trustworthy to a revenue team that has never worked this way before.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Own the orchestration roadmap. Set the strategic direction for how AI agents coordinate across the revenue lifecycle, and keep translating fast-moving AI capabilities into a roadmap the business can actually plan around.
- Partner deep into engineering and AI/ML. Work side-by-side with technical teams on the hard architecture questions — how agents reason, when they call tools, how reliable they need to be, and where a human needs to stay in the loop.
- Make complexity disappear for the end user. Collaborate closely with Design so that what is, under the hood, a genuinely complex multi-agent system feels intuitive and controllable to a revenue rep or manager using it every day.
- Carry the product the whole way. Take ideas from early insight through launch, adoption, packaging, and monetization — this is full-lifecycle ownership, not a hand-off role, and it requires tight alignment with Go-To-Market partners along the way.
- Design the connective tissue. Figure out how agents, context, data, tools, and workflows link together to actually finish complex revenue jobs end-to-end, rather than automating one step at a time.
- Look for reinvention, not just automation. Identify the moments where orchestration can genuinely rebuild how a revenue workflow works — then get in front of customers fast with prototypes to test whether that bet holds up.
What Zoom Is Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience), plus 8–10 years operating at a Lead PM level — ideally with real zero-to-one product launches on your record, not just incremental feature work.
- Direct experience building AI-native products: agents, orchestration systems, or intelligent workflows that had to earn user trust, not just ship.
- Product sense sharp enough to make a technically dense system feel simple — this role lives at the UX/engineering boundary, so judgment matters as much as technical fluency.
- Real depth on how agentic systems work under the hood: context management, reasoning chains, orchestration, tool use, evaluation, permissions, and human oversight — enough to be credible in a room full of senior engineers and applied AI scientists.
- Commercial instincts — you should be comfortable owning differentiation, adoption, packaging, and monetization decisions, not just handing them off to a GTM team.
- Nice to have: background in enterprise SaaS, revenue technology, CRM platforms, or workflow automation.
