Job Description
About the Role
Cognizant is looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the strategy and delivery of a modernized outbound communications platform inside a large-scale healthcare technology environment. This is a hands-on product role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution — you'll be the person translating stakeholder needs into a roadmap that engineering can actually build.
You'll join a healthcare technology team working across business stakeholders, engineering, infrastructure partners, vendors, and client leadership to ship solutions that directly improve how patients and members are communicated with.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve the product roadmap for outbound communication platforms and related modernization efforts.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to turn ambiguous operational needs into scalable technical requirements.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Rally, keeping every initiative tied to a measurable business outcome.
- Partner closely with engineering on solution design — you won't just hand off requirements, you'll be in the room for the technical tradeoffs.
- Run stakeholder demos, progress reviews, and risk conversations across a web of integrated systems and vendor workflows.
- Bring enterprise-approved AI tools into the day-to-day — using them to speed up documentation, analysis, and decision-making rather than treating AI as a side project.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years in Technical Product Management, shipping enterprise-scale technology.
- 2+ years inside U.S. healthcare — payer, provider, or healthcare operations.
- 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum delivery.
- A track record of turning fuzzy business asks into concrete, actionable product features.
- Strong stakeholder management — you're equally comfortable in a room with executives and a room with engineers.
- Experience owning backlogs, prioritization frameworks, and roadmap planning end to end.
- Comfort coordinating across engineering, infrastructure, vendors, and business teams to actually get things shipped.
- A practical fluency with applying AI tools to real product workflows.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on time in Rally for Agile planning and delivery tracking.
- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern cloud/data platforms.
- Experience modernizing customer communication or digital engagement platforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare data ecosystems and healthcare system integrations.
- Regular use of enterprise AI platforms such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Job Benefits
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) plan with company contributions
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan
- Employee Assistance Program
- 10 paid holidays plus PTO
- Paid parental leave and fertility assistance
- Learning and development certifications and programs
- Eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program
