About the Role
Cisco is standing up a brand-new Multicloud Network product line, and this Product Manager role sits at the center of it. You'll join a small, fast-moving team building the product from the ground floor — working shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering, Technical Marketing, and Sales to take a net-new multicloud networking offering from concept to market. This is a rare opportunity for a Product Manager who wants outsized ownership and a startup-style pace inside a company with the scale and customer base of Cisco.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle for new multicloud networking features — from concept and design through development, launch, and post-launch performance tracking
- Translate real-world multicloud networking pain points into clear, prioritized product requirements
- Track the competitive landscape across hybrid connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and multicloud networking to spot market opportunities
- Partner closely with engineers, technical marketing engineers, and field teams in tight, iterative cycles to validate use cases and refine the roadmap
- Define and monitor KPIs that measure product success and guide prioritization decisions
- Engage directly with customers and partners to surface feedback and continuously sharpen the product
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
- Solid grounding in networking fundamentals plus hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Track record navigating technical trade-offs and aligning both internal and external stakeholders around them
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Jose / Bay Area, with 3–4 days/week in-office
Preferred
- Strong, persuasive communicator across technical and executive audiences
- Background in cloud security — cloud firewalls, SASE — or cloud network visibility/observability
- Prior experience in a startup or small-team setting where speed and individual ownership mattered
- Genuine curiosity about AI and a track record of adapting quickly as the space evolves
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving instincts, backed by clear written communication
