Job Description
Reddit is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead SEO and AI-driven discovery for its Top of Funnel Growth team. This is a rare opportunity to shape how one of the internet's largest content platforms is found — not just on Google, but across the emerging landscape of AI search and LLM-powered answer engines. With 130+ million daily active visitors already arriving through organic search, this role sits at the center of Reddit's next chapter of growth.
You'll take ownership of Reddit's technical and programmatic SEO strategy, working alongside a strong engineering team to keep Reddit visible and trusted as search itself is transformed by AI. This isn't a maintenance role — it's a build role, focused on architecture, structured data, and the systems that will let Reddit's massive community content be understood by both traditional crawlers and next-generation AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end SEO product roadmap, including site architecture, internal linking, crawl efficiency, and index health at scale
- Build a forward-looking, AI-native search strategy designed for how large language models and answer engines discover and cite content
- Develop frameworks for structured data, schema, and entity authority to strengthen Reddit's presence in LLM-driven discovery
- Partner with Engineering, Analytics, and Category teams to embed SEO directly into the product development lifecycle
- Support and evolve Reddit's Machine Translation capabilities to grow international organic reach
- Design user flows that convert search-driven visitors into retained, recurring Reddit users
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Deep, hands-on expertise in technical SEO at scale — large site architecture, programmatic SEO, structured data, and crawl optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Strong applied statistical analysis skills and experience running experiments
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
Preferred
- Independent SQL querying and data exploration ability
- Master's or PhD in Probability, Statistics, or Behavioral Economics
Job Benefits
Reddit offers a comprehensive benefits package supporting health, family, and long-term wellbeing:
- Comprehensive healthcare and income replacement programs
- 401(k) with employer match
- Global benefit programs covering workspace, professional development, and caregiving support
- Family planning support and gender-affirming care
- Mental health and coaching benefits
- Flexible vacation and paid volunteer time off
- Generous paid parental leave
