- No resumes or CVs collected
- No applicant profiles stored
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the Platform, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and interaction data
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies

How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Publish and display job listings publicly on the Platform
- Send automated email notifications to recruiters (listing approval, expiry warnings, archive alerts)
- Send job alert emails to job seekers who have opted in
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Placeman platform
- Monitor usage, prevent abuse, and ensure platform security
- Process payments for job listing fees (when applicable)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Public Visibility of Job Listings
Information submitted in job listings — including company name, job description, salary range, work mode, and application details — is publicly visible on the Platform and may be indexed by search engines.
Recruiters are responsible for ensuring that no confidential or sensitive information is included in job postings. Once published, listing content may be cached or indexed by third-party search engines outside Placeman’s control.

Email Subscriptions
Job seekers may opt in to receive email notifications about new Technical Product Manager job listings. If you subscribe:
- We collect and store your email address for the purpose of sending job alerts.
- You will only receive emails relevant to your subscription preferences.
- You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
- We will not share your email address with recruiters or third parties without your consent.
Recruiters receive automated transactional emails regarding their job listings (approval, expiry warnings, archive notifications). These are operational emails and are not marketing communications.

Cookies and Analytics
Placeman uses analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Platform and to improve performance. We currently use:
- Google Analytics 4 — via Site Kit by Google, to track page views, traffic sources, and user behaviour in aggregate.
- Hostinger Analytics — built-in hosting-level analytics for server and traffic monitoring.
- WordPress cookies — for session management and logged-in user functionality.
Analytics data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify individual visitors.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Platform.

Payment Processing
When paid job listings are enabled, payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers including WooCommerce, Stripe, and Wise.
Placeman does not store or process full payment card details on its servers. All payment data is handled directly by our payment providers under their own security and compliance standards (including PCI-DSS where applicable).
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or charges imposed by your jurisdiction on transactions made through the Platform.

Data Sharing and Third Parties
We may share information only with trusted third parties necessary to operate the Platform:
- Hostinger — web hosting and infrastructure
- Google Analytics / Site Kit — usage analytics
- Stripe / WooCommerce / Wise — payment processing
- Email service providers — for sending transactional and subscription emails via SMTP (smtp.hostinger.com)
These third parties are authorised to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to Placeman. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy:
- Job listings — retained for 30 days after posting, then archived. Archived listings may be retained for record-keeping purposes.
- Recruiter account data — retained for the duration of the account and for a reasonable period thereafter.
- Job seeker email subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics and Hostinger’s own data retention policies.
We may remove or anonymise inactive data periodically. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@placeman.co.in.

Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:
- SSL/HTTPS encryption across the entire Platform
- Secure SMTP for email communications
- Password-protected admin access
- Hosting on Hostinger’s secured infrastructure
However, no internet-based system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

Depending on applicable laws (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and applicable international regulations), you may have the right to:
